This role will support the delivery of the BDA’s volunteer engagement activities alongside work of the Membership, Marketing and Communications team, coordinating work, projects and activity occurring across the team, specifically in relation to our member volunteer programme.



You will act as essential support to colleagues and will work effectively across the MMC team and with the wider organisation.



The successful applicant will:



  • Be educated to degree level
  • High standard of English both written and spoken
  • Understanding of board and committee governance structures and systems
  • Have experience working with volunteers and/or stakeholders
  • Experience in writing and producing e-newsletters
  • Experience of producing accurate documents based on various sources of information
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
  • Experience in coordinating events.



Desirable:




  • Experience in the health sector and/or in not-for-profit/membership organisations
  • Commitment to one’s own professional development
  • Experience of using CMS / updating a website
  • Developing content for social media posts
  • Knowledge of the health sector
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management systems (CRM)

Location: Flexible hybrid role between central office (Birmingham) and some home-working considered with national coverage.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: full time 36 hours per week.

Salary: £28,205.94 - £30,802.41 (job evaluation and salary review pending)
