The successful candidate will be an organised self-driven person capable of adapting to unforeseen circumstances,
multi-tasking and be able to develop positive and professional relationships with engineers and customers.
Formal engineering qualification.
Management training and experience.
Current driving licence without disqualification, and UK/EU Passport.
Previous administration, organisational and multi-tasking skills.
Health & Safety qualification or experience.
As the Service Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Technical Departments Service
Team. Working closely with Service Co-ordinator and team of engineers to deliver the best possible customer service.
The Service Manager will be a dedicated team player who strives for improvement and wants to integrate and
contribute to the success of our business. Individuals who are enthusiastic, energetic, and proactive in finding solutions
to problems even beyond what's in front of them will be well suited to this role and our future vision.
We would like you to manage the service department, ensuring efficient use of resources, having ownership of directing
engineers to service requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety instructions, maintaining a high
level of excellence, and striving for continuous improvement within the department to aid the advancement of Summit
Systems Service Division.
Strong communication skills will assist with building strong customer and key supplier relations with service and
breakdown calls assistance, and aid maintained daily communication with the Service Co-ordinator and Service
Ownership of the Service Teams skill matrix will help ensure that the standard of engineering is high and assist in
creation or implementing training plans in areas identified as weak. Able to present and communicate at board level
